Q: What is your soap packaged in?
A: Recycled paper, card and cardboard. We have chosen these materials as it keeps your soaps free from contact and other contaminants whilst awaiting purchase and can decompose leaving no mark on our beautiful planet. Suitable for home composting or putting in your brown card bin. If you don't have either of those then please dispose of it in your usual mainstream waste. All packaging is fully disposable.
Q: I'm confused, I thought your soaps were natural but they contain things such as SLS, why is this?
A: Our current soaps are not entirely natural. They are in the most part derived from vegetables and we use natural colours and scents. They are all suitable for vegans with the exception of our honey soaps. We set up the business with the aim of reducing plastics in the household and through my first range of soaps have done exactly that. However, we constantly strive to find ways to improve our business and its impact upon our planet.
Q: Are your soaps suitable for young children?
A: We have all of our soaps cosmetically tested as per the law. We are advised they should be avoided for children under the age of 3.
Q: Can I use the soap on my face?
A: Yes, but please avoid contact with eyes or mouth. If you do accidentally get it in your eyes or mouth please rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Q: Are your products suitable for vegans?
A: No. All of our products contain honey or beeswax making them unsuitable for vegans, however we are working very hard behind the scenes to create vegan alternatives to our original recipes.
Q: Are your products suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women?
A: We would not advise our products to be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without discussing this with your midwife or GP as they all contain essential oils.
Q: Are your products tested on animals?
A: Absolutely not!
Q: Are your products eco-friendly?
A: Yes. We wrap all our soaps in compostable materials. The kraft gift boxes are made from recycled materials, can be recycled and are filled with all natural wood wool.
Q: Are your products organic?
A: Our products are not certified organic but we endeavour to use organic essential oils and ingredients where possible.
Q: What is the lifespan of your products?
A: We make our soap in small batches so they can be as fresh as possible at the point of sale. Each product label shows life expectancy after first opening.
Q: Do you sell wholesale?
A: Yes we sell wholesale. Please contact us through our contact page and we will send you our wholesale prices. Larger orders will take longer to fulfil and we may need up to 6 weeks to fulfil these.
Q: Do you do bespoke orders?
A: Yes. We can provide bespoke gift sets, favours for weddings and bridal or baby showers and other such occasions. Please contact us via the Contact Us page and we will get in touch to discuss your requirements. Prices will be negotiable depending upon the products and services required.
